The crisis of terminal illness brings enormous emotional and spiritual challenges to patients and families.

The dying process, the experience of pain and suffering, the
poignancy of saying goodbye, the questions about what follows death - these
are often experienced and expressed as spiritual concerns.  They provide
special opportunity for spiritual growth This 3-hour seminar for clergy and lay
pastoral care providers is designed to engage the conversation about
spiritual care at the end-of-life.

Objectives include:

* Recognize the role of religious leaders with patients and
   families at end-of-life.

* Improve skills that facilitate communication about dying, death
   and bereavement.

* Learn about resources and partnerships for end-of-life care.
