This item does not fit neatly under the heading of grieving but any help would be welcome.
My young niece, 17 years, recently attempted attempted suicide. Happily she failed and is presently receiving appropriate medical care.
My brother and sister in law are profoundly depressed by this event despite recognizing their
fortune in still having their daughter.They live far away and a personal visit is out of the question.
I wonder if the Forum could suggest an encouraging approach to this situation. Somehow a promise to include them in my prayers seems inadequate.
