Grievingcenter.org, the first web-based television channel dealing with loss, recently announced its independent status, noting it no longer has ties to Continuum Hospice.  The spin off came about when another hospice agency purchased and acquired Continuum.  As the site is in conversation with potential sponsors, its developers, the Reverend William Purdy, the director, and Eric Marciano, the video producer, have developed a business plan that envisions taking Grieivngcenter.org to the next level technologically.  The plan includes availability to view the site on hand-held devices and making it possible for individuals to post brief videos.  Dr. Purdy and Mr. Marciano said that various sponsorship plans are available and that the site is in the process of organizing as a non-profit.
